Davidson Brothers Restaurant & Brewery in Glens Falls

We stopped by on our way back from holiday and have to say the food was delicious! The beer as well! Would recommend this brew pub if you are in the area. The Buffalo Chips (basically boneless Wings) are really good. Try it with the Thai Chili sauce. Plus the popcorn is a bonus!

The waitstaff and bartender Alisha and chef are second to none the food and brew was Awesome !!! Absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone !!!

We got here before around 20 people and every single one of the received their food before us. Terrible service. Don't bother coming. The Burger King across the street would be better.

The outdoor patio was relaxing and enjoyable. The service was okay. At the time we visited we were told there was a no-tipping policy because the restaurant paid their servers a "decent wage." As a result, our burgers, fries and beer were pricier than normal. The burger was a bit overcooked and dry, but not a disaster. The fries were nothing special. I ordered a flight of beers, but they were all disappointingly nondistinct and ordinary. There are far better brewpubs out there.

Highly recommend for so many reasons: fast and friendly service, phenomenal food (I highly recommend the pub fries to start) and the beer is amazing too!

Beer was good, service was outstanding, food could be much better. Basic pub food is not hard to cook yet this missed the mark. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. If you want people to return, hire a good chef, put out consistently good food and good service. Not hard!

Great location, great food, great service.

Had it not been for the incredibly slow service I woiod have given this four stars. The ahi nachos are absolutely amazing. Great patio atmosphere with live local musicians. Fish and chips has little flavoring, fries are well seasoned though. Smoked half chicken was great but the mac and cheese side had very little flavor.

It is a great place for a healthy meal 😊. Staff is always the best and friendly. Well caring.

I have been going to Davidson Brothers since they opened in the 90's. We always make it a stop when in the Glen's Falls area. Friendly and old time bar, good beer/drinks and food.

Yummy sandwiches, tasty brews and a fun environment.

First I was told to turn my 18 month old daughters music down (nursery rhymes) then the first bite of food I took I bit into something very hard. Maybe glass? It hurt my tooth and the same man that told me to turn the music down told me it was salt. I said it was VERY hard. He said maybe it's kosher salt. The other person with me said maybe it's rock salt.

Everything about this place is a sure win. We had no clue whether dogs are allowed, but they were beyond accommodating to our furry friend. We showed up for the beer, but HAD to try their beer chili. Lets just say that I am heading to the store in a bit to try and replicate that chili! (We are back in south jersey). Great variety of beers and waitress was sweet, which was a plus.

If you like Brown Ale, you must try it here. It's magical on the palate, and goes great with any type of food. It's what I enjoy when I return from a deployment. Cheers!Dave DorseyU.S. Coast Guard

We stopped here after riding the canal bike trail, looking for good cold refreshments and lunch. The beer selection had a nice variety and the mixed drink section had some creative concoctions. They had a contactless menu too. I ordered an "It's 5 o-clock somewhere" and it was excellent, it had a nice tropical refreshing taste and I've not had something quite like that before. For food we got the burgers, the Brewer's burger was great and the pickled onions on the burger really stood out and gave it a nice flavor profile. The tater tots were definitely housemade, light and crispy. The onion petals were also tempting and sure to be good with the fry batter they use. Plenty of shaded seating too in a nice clean walk way off the main road!

Solid place but if going with a big party I wouldn't recommend. If I was rating only on beer and food I'd give four stars. However, we waited almost 40 mins for our bill and over an hour and 20 mins. For our food. Food came at separate times and in no particular order. Kids meals came almost 30 mins. before adults, and then the adults food came all at different times. It's unfortunate because left a bad taste in everyone's experience.

Crazy dog owner approved! They bring out water dishes and treats for your dogs and they have a dog menu! 10 stars!!!! Loved everything food, beer, outdoor area.

We'll I have to say one of the best places to eat is here. Me an my lady showed up at 10 pm an the kitchen was closing an the cook noticed us outside an came out an said he would cook for us. Wow really I was shocked. Love this place my waitress where awesome food to die for. Thank you so much to the staff an cook..

Great tasting beers and food, customer service is awesome and the pub has a comfortable vibe to it, very relaxing. I always make it a point to stop by Davidson Brothers every time I'm in town!

Great menu, food is tasty, outdoor seating, great service, creative menu for vegetarians, non-vegetarians, and kids.

I only stopped here for a beer and the brussel sprouts appetizer, which were both delicious. Yet I've been drinking their beer for ages. The ambiance here is great. And the staff was super friendly. If the rest of the food menu is as good as the rest of the beer, this would is killer.

Smaller than expected given that the beer brand is almost universally available, but still plenty of space to find a table. The menu is varied and has good dietary options, and the food I've had there is all quite good. The beer list is Davidson standards - nothing ground breaking and occasionally pretty far from the stated style (scotch ale is.. not), but reliably tasty and suitable for lubricating a meal.

We decided on this restaurant as our team finished a hockey skills tournament at Cool Insuring Center and they could accommodate a group of 20+. Unlike other restaurants we have tried, the staff here was able to take care of us. Our waiters were Alicia and Brandon and we never had to wait for anything. The buffalo chicken soup was blah but the French onion soup was very good. We split the fried calamari and a pub sandwich, very good tasting. The kids were able to play the arcade games as we were seated on the second floor. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere.

They have a nice atmosphere with great upscale bar food. The outside eating area is nice and they have a good selection of their own craft beers as well as other things to drink.

Love it here! Great food and great beer. What more could you need?

Great food, good drinks & friendly service.The chicken & waffles was amazing, the chicken was tender, & even though I'm not much of a breading fan, they do a fantastic job, it was crispy, & flavorful.

Burgers, sandwiches, tacos, steak with flair. Veggie options for veggies. Plenty of new brews to try. Jessica was our server and she was fantastic! You might even find some live music.

Excellent beer (try the Scotch Ale), great food (try the fish tacos), lovely atmosphere, awesome live music act.

I went with some friends and had the fried burger and a couple of beers. The food, drinks, and service were all great. My only complaint would be the volume of the band on the street, while they were good it was hard to carry on a conversation without yelling across the table.

Wish i could give them no stars. Extremely slow service. My food came out wrong and the manager who came over was absolutely rude and did nothing for their mess up. Server was super friendly though but manager completely Rude and innaprorate

Came here for lunch and a beer, friendly greeting at the door, waitress was super nice and helpful, fast food service but the pub burger was mediocore, not fall out of the chair great. Defenitly not a fresh burger, frozen or something. Love their beers however, just need to make better burgers to earn a five star.
